Perspective

Today was exhausting. A completely routine office event, the cleaning of the staff room, became the fodder for the next three years of melodrama and backbiting. Fun was had by none. Cake was eaten as a reaction to the stress. Scenario was obsessively played over and over in head until headache from sugar crash took precedence. Good times.

Yet I got to come home to an awesome husband who did the dishes and dinner. And I got to snuggle with a great munchkin who gave me zerberts on my forehead and chin. It would seem that the universe has found a balance.
